Wales

The wet and wild Welsh countryside offers some of the best green lanes that the UK has to offer. A superb mix of lanes allows for challenging off-roading for all abilities and experience. Due to the wide variety of trails we offer two trips. A North Wales and a mid Wales with the opportunity to combine both on certain Bank Holidays of the year. Due to the characteristics of the Welsh countryside, these routes are suitable for all kinds of vehicles as there is a lower risk of any scratches.

Mid Wales Adventure

We start in the town of Llandovery nestled in the Welsh hills, spending the first day exploring the lanes through this beautiful countryside, picking our way through pine forests, across rivers and through pretty villages. We then drive onto a favourite byway of ours which sits under the Claerwen Dam that was featured on the well know car television show with a series 1 Land Rover being winched up it. Our second day takes us down the famous Strata Florida, a trail to test all levels of 4wd driver. Expect a day of rock crawling, many river crossings, tight hillside trails and beautiful mountain scenery. A route that will not be forgotten easily. The great majority of this adventure is driven off-road whilst staying within a day’s drive of home which means that a Weekend away could turn into a fantastic odyssey and still be back before work on Monday.

North Wales Adventure

This route takes us further towards the rugged Welsh coast line, we spend our first day testing ourselves and vehicles on some beautiful off-road trails following the sea before making our way up into the expanse of the Welsh moorlands, traversing the boulder ridden route of Happy Valley and negotiating hillside streams. Our second day takes us onto a couple of more technical lanes followed by what’s described as Wales’ most challenging lane which will take great team work to negotiate. We can guarantee you will come away from this trip really seeing what your vehicle and yourselves are cable of, as well as a large grin.
